British Foreign Secretary William Hague called on Israel and the Palestinians re-do the dialogue after the United States (U.S.) vetoed a UN resolution sponsored by the illegal Israeli settlement called Arab.
Obama Administration veto in the UN Security Council led to anger Palestinians and beat U.S. efforts to forge a Palestinian state this year.
But the Hague confirmed the Israeli and Palestinian peace process is not sidetracked by a wave of protests that swept the East.
"I confirm my concern over Middle East peace process is facing a dead end," Hague said as quoted by AFP on Saturday (02/19/2011).
"Do not let the warm events in the Middle East to divert us from efforts to long-term resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict," Hague said.
"I urge both parties back to dialogue as soon as possible, on the basis of clear parameters."
Last peace dialogue interrupted after the completion of Israel who should have been experiencing delays.
Hague stressed that Britain, one of the permanent members of UN Security Council who have veto power, has given a voice in the formation of a UN resolution as an obstacle to peace settlement.
Fourteen of the 15 Security Council members voted in formation resolution but the U.S. has veto such a step wedge.
